Terrible hotel

I stayed here last week (3-7 December) on business and it
was pretty awful for the following reasons:
1. Very noisy - thin walls and doors meant that you could
hear everything going on in the corridors and I was woken up
by the alarm clock in the room next door.
2. No room service or snacks - only full service resto
(expensive) or the kebab shop down the street which was
recommended by the receptionist (and wasn't bad, actually)
3. No BBC world. Only CNN as an english speaking TV channel.
Pretty poor for a business hotel!
4. Exceptionally dozy staff - two of the breakfast room staff
fused all the electrics when they tried to fish some burning
toast out of a toaster with a carving knife. Not only that but
they actually didn't understand the relationship between the
2 events so didn't do anything to get the tripped electrics
switched back on again. So no light, no heating, no coffee
and no toast for the rest of the morning. Genius.
5. The same two staff studiously ignored two wheelchair
users who were not able to reach the coffee machines which
had been placed way out of reach.
The only redeeming features were that it was clean, and that
the reception staff were helpful, hence I have given it a 2 not
a 1.

This hotel claims to be accessible and I saw at least 2
wheelchair users there, however many things weer not
designed for wheelchair users at all, such as the height of the
reception the buttons on the lift, and the placing of items at
breakfast. A bit crap altogether.
