Verdict: Great piece of technology

Description: It is a phone and a PDA.
Opinion: Love this piece of kit. It works well as a phone and is an
excellent PDA with full Windows mobile on board.
Two minor downsides. Firstly, getting it to link to my
computer took a while; that said, the troubleshoot took me
to the problem very quickly. Zone Alarm needed unblocking.
Secondly, transcribing texts is much better than using the
HTC keyboard and handwriting recognition is not great yet.
Now, if someone could provide a learning algorithm for my
handwriting...

Review For: The Port of Call, Bristol (Roger the landlord)
Verdict: Everyone should have a local just like this one

Description: A public house
Opinion: The Port of Call is a pub. Not a bar, or club, or trendy
anything. Just a good old fashioned public house. The kind
where the beer is of such excellent quality, you question
your taste buds before daring to approach the bar. Though if
you did, whether their fault or yours, an instant change is
provided.
The food is excellent, if a little expensive.
Roger is a joy, always grumpy, but in a jolly old soul
fashion. All the staff are a delight.
